Codename: プラク音モラク音 (プラクネ モラクネ) (Plakne Morakne)
Name: Plakis Morakis
Sex: None, though usually uses feminine descriptors.
Height: Variable
Distribution date: 06/07/2023
Sound Source: Human, mild filters
Biology: The entity known as "Plak" consists of a mask of vaguely avian appearance. Plak only gains autonomy upon being placed on the face of a being. When not active, the mask appears to attract beings towards it. This attraction seems to have priorities; beings that Plak knows are usually unaffected, and more intelligent beings seem to be affected the most.
Upon wearing the mask, Plak gains autonomy. The conscience and other mental aspects of the original being are rendered inert. The holographic wings of a Plak-being appear, and the amorphous limb appears in the place of the original. The mask becomes animate, and cannot be removed directly while the being is alive- only the removal of the contact points between the mask and the original being could displace a Plak. Though this could hypothetically be done via surgery that removes the contact points, this usually happens through the death of the Plak-controlled individual.
Only one Plak can be in one universe at any given time.
Personality: Plak is fully aware that her existence relies on the effective death of other beings. Due to this, she tries her best not to die to prevent causing more harm. However, each version of Plak tends to have their own neuroses, ranging from a constant desire to intrude upon others, to an obsession towards collecting strange objects. This means that "not dying" can be more difficult than expected.
(The clutch-mother's struggling slows, and the guardian angel wanders aimlessly.)
Codename: プリク音モラク音 (プリクネ モラクネ) (Plikne Morakne)
Name: Plikis Morakis
Sex: None Applicable
Height: 5'~6'
Flags: G-10
Biology: Instead of the "reluctant bodysnatcher" nature of a Plak mask, Plik's body is regenerated from minute particles of nonliving matter. These particles are formed into the hollow, quasi-metal tubing of Plik's body. Differences between materials only manifest slightly, with small differences in color and hardness.
Each Plik has a different eye-pattern, and appears to be of artificial design.
Personality: Plik appears to have taken on the role as a simultaneous servant and guide to a given universe's Plak. Plik tends to follow the orders of Plak, but is also willing to give her own takes on a given matter. Sometimes, Plik acts in a way befitting an artificial creature, responding to certain inquiries with a "PROCESSING…" or "WAITING…".
